New Prefects Assembly Plan

As most of you know, our school has changed our assembly plan. We used to be have assembly at the field, but now that is history. Starting this year, our school divided our assembly into 2 sections, 1st section for Form 3 - Form 5, the 2nd section is for Form 6. Therefore, prefects board introduced a new assembly plan for assembly

Prefects’ Board Assembly Plan

*There are 2 assembly plans for SMK Batu Lintang : Assembly Plan for Form 3 to Form 5, Assembly Plan for Form 6 .

Assembly Plan for Form 3 to Form 5

a) All prefects are to work accordingly to the Assembly Plan for Form 3 to Form 5
b) The Form 5 PA system team has to start setting up by 6:55am, and ready by 7:10am.
c) The MC has to be ready by 7:00am
d) Prefects who are holding the class labels have to be ready by 6:55am
e) Prefects have to start dispersing the class by 7:00am, all students must be inside the hall by 7:15pm.
f) Prefects who work as latecomers have to be stationed at their working place at 7:05am. All Executive prefects work as normal. After duty, they may go to the hall(Form 5 prefects) or back to class(Form 6 prefects).
g) Leaders: Joan Wong and Ho Pei Yin

Assembly Plan For Form 6

a) All prefects work as normal according to the duty roster.
b) The Form 6 PA system team has to start setting up by 6:55am, and ready by 7:10am.
c) The MC has to be ready by 7:00am
d) K.K will be cancelled; K.K prefects will need to go to the hall by 7:00am.
e) Prefects that patrol Block C are responsible to disperse the form 6 class by 7:05am; all students need to be inside the hall by 7:15am.
f) After duty, prefects need to go back to class(Form 5) or go to the hall(Form 6)
g) Leaders : Liaw Kian Soon, Eric Bong

Job Description:

Prefects who hold class labels or K.K prefects:

  1. Be ready by 6:55am , Fong Wan Ming(4A) ,Bibiana (4A), Wendy Tan (U6S1) and Gloria Teo (U6S1) are responsible for distributing the class label to the prefects
  2. Prefects are to stand at their position (Form 5 at the front, Form 4 in middle and Form 3 at the back)
  3. Prefects need to make sure the classes are lined properly ( 4 rows are recommended , 2 rows for boys and 2 rows for girls )
  4. After 7:25am , Fong Wan Ming Bibiana, Wendy, Gloria will collect the class label back
  5. Prefects can now go back to their working place (if got any)

Prefects Guarding the Doors:

  1. Prefects who are stationed at these places need to guard the doors and should preventing students from going to toilet in groups.
  2. Prefects who are stationed at the right hand side of the doors (facing the stage) will need to close the doors when Ibu Pertiwiku is sung.
  3. Prefects need to check fingernails at the end of the assembly.

Prefect Dispersing the Classes:

1. Prefects need to disperse the classes by :

a) Writing “Assembly at 7:10am” at the blackboard

b) Ask class monitor to help disperse the class immediately

c) Go to the next class to disperse the class.

Executive Prefects:

  1. All executive prefects works as normal until the assembly finish
  2. Executive prefects need to make sure that no students are loitering around the school..

Assistant Head Prefects:

  1. Assist teachers and head prefect during assembly
  2. The problematic students (long hair…..) need to be sent to the back of the hall

Junior Prefects Training Plan 2008

January:

16/1/2008 The First badge of junior prefects will start to follow team leaders(Abang Syazwan and Siti Munirah) to prefects duty site, then AJK will start describing the job of a prefects to them. (9 days to visit all the places)

23/1/2008 The second badge of junior prefects will be introduced,(14 of them). On this day, they will be briefed about the system of the prefects.

24/1/2008 On this day, the second badge of junior prefects will divided into 2 teams, lead by Jong Jia Xing and William Chai. They will visit prefects duty site.

28/1/2008 The 1st badge of juniors prefects will be given a senior so that senior could guide him. The name list of the seniors will be prepared by Prefects Internal Affairs.

February:

1/2/2008 The 2nd badge of juniors prefects will be given a senior so that senior could guide him. The name list of the senior will be prepared by Prefects Internal Affairs.

11/2/2008 The 3rd badge of juniors will be introduced. They will start the same process as 1st and 2nd badge juniors(On 20/2/2008,they will be given a senior to follow.)

18/2/2008 The 4th badge of juniors will be introduced. They will have the same process as 1st, 2nd and 3rd badge juniors.( On 27/2/2008, they will be given a senior to follow)

23/2/2008 On this Saturday, all the juniors will come to school at 8am for a meeting. The meeting will include : Juniors Attendance Rate, juniors attitude, how to do sport check, condition of becoming the Executive Council on 2008/2009. Some activities will be played to achieve the goal.

March:

1/3/2008 A meeting will be held for all the Executive Council. During the meeting, Exco will discuss about junior prefects who are potential to become the next Exco. Then ,the name list will be sent to school for final approval.

*Right now we are right on shedule, with 3rd badge coming soon.
